John Bel Edwards anounced Tuesday that he was dropping Louisiana's requirement to wear masks in public indoor places. Parent involvement coupons?There's a lot of evidence that students do better when their parents are involved in their education. So Louisiana is trying to get more parents involved in parent-teacher conferences, school activities and the like. One way? They're setting up an app that scores parents coupons if they check into those academies. It's designed to be a way to directly reward parents who get engaged. NBA YoungBoy freedNBA Youngboy, the chart-topping, scandal-plagued rapper from Baton Rouge, cleared the last legal hurdle keeping him in jail before his trial. He's now bound for Utah, where his lawyer and promoters have promised to build him an in-home recording studio and hire private security to keep him out of trouble.
