Louisiana GOP wants to ban critical race theory

GOP against CRT: Louisiana Republicans urged state lawmakers on Saturday to bar the state's colleges from teaching critical race theory and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. The move drew disdain from at least one university system president, James Finn reports. 


ADD SOY: U.S. Rep. Troy Carter, of New Orleans, has filed a bill to require public schools to offer dairy alternatives to students at mealtimes, citing data that shows many minority students are lactose intolerant. Mark Ballard has the latest on Carter's ADD SOY bill.
