Louisiana in the EV supply chain

You'll want to follow the stories coming from our latest addition to our business reporting staff, Rich Collins, who is focused on ideas and innnovation in Louisiana. 

Today's it's the state's growing presence in electric vehicle manufacturing. 

Six companies have a presence here, including the company in Alexandria that plans to refine “rare earth” materials that can be used to create magnets used in EV motors.

All told, the projects promise $2.4 billion in investment and more than 600 jobs.
