But an unseen predator may challenge that standing: derelict crab traps that continue capture the crustaceans and other critters. This year, state officials targeted Lake Maurepas for their annual "crab trap rodeo," designed to clear the waters of the devices. Yes, Caitlin Clark upended "Pistol" Pete Maravich's NCAA career score record, but LSU's coach Kim Mulkey cautions against the comparison.
