I love smooth, soft chocolate frosties. I used to get them often at diners and burger joints. Now, I make low carb versions of them at home with some kitchen staples. This is a fun and easy recipe that can be ready to serve in about an hour!

This coffee is mellower and less acid than hot brewed. You don't need a special machine to make it. Mix 1 ounce (a little less than 3 tsp.) coarsely ground coffee beans with 8 ounces cold water in an airtight container like a mason jar. Refrigerate 12 to 24 hours. Strain through a filter and drink hot or iced. Compost the filter and grinds.

Today's QuestionsShelf Life of Imitation Crab MeatI had imitation crab meat a few hours ago and noticed that the package said to use by September 1 and today is September 4. I'm worried that I can get sick. It was closed and in the fridge.Removing Moisture from Gatorade MixI am trying to remove the moisture from Gatorade mix that was left open. I have it in the oven on 200. It has been there 3 hours, but it doesn't seem to be working very well. Any other suggestions? Since I live in Florida, I do not think that leaving it out, on say paper towels, is a viable option; the humidity is inescapable.ThriftyFun Contests! This newsletter is powered by you!
