Good morning, LSU fans. Hope you and yours came out all right from Hurricane Francine. Saturday's LSU-South Carolina game (11 a.m. CDT, ABC) in Columbia, South Carolina, won't be impacted by the hurricane other than the fact LSU moved up Wednesday's practice to the morning to avoid stormy weather in the afternoon. It is borderline ironic, though, that the hurricane blew up the week LSU is playing South Carolina. The last time they met in 2015, the game had to be moved from Columbia to Tiger Stadium because of widespread flooding in South Carolina. Here's a list of LSU football games that have been impacted by weather over the last 60 years. If you didn't lose power from the hurricane, you might want to check out "The Money Game" series on Amazon Prime Video, a series that goes into detail about the NIL and encorsement deals of several prominent LSU athletes. One of those LSU athletes is gymnast Olivia Dunne. Dunne has made millions through her endorsement deals, but as she detailed in the series, there certainly has been a dark side. Sadly, she described a death threat she received during her time at LSU. That's just one of five takeaways from the series. Read about the rest here. Thanks as always for reading and subscribing.
