LSU's new permanent football opponents?

When Oklahoma and Texas moved to join the SEC, it threw scheduling all out of whack. The plan at the moment seems to be to give each team three permanent opponents and then rotate through the rest of the league.

So the burning question is: Who gets who?

Here's the latest intel about LSU's schedule from inside SEC negotiations. And here's why Nick Saban isn't happy about the plan. 


The shootout was like the "wild, wild west," a judge said. Last October, gunfire broke out between two groups in front of a Baton Rouge grocery store; by the time it was over, a 17-year-old lay dead. 

At a recent court hearing for two teenagers accused of the killing, prosecutors laid out more details on what happened and played a video of the shootout. Here's what we learned.  


A developer has bought up 152 acres in North Baton Rouge to build two apartment complexes. They would provide more than 570 units of affordable housing.
