Situational Analysis | Nov. 7, 2024

It's Thursday and National Men Make Dinner Day. I approve.

What you need to know

  •  Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson said Wednesday that she believes some reform is needed in the Election Day process after multiple voting issues on Tuesday — primarily in Utah County — created delays and emergency solutions, including sending a plane to Arizona for more ballot paper. The lieutenant governor commended Utah County voters for sticking out the delays and the county's poll workers for enduring the issues. She chastised Davidson instead for "some lack of planning" that she believes led to the delays. Utah County Clerk Aaron Davidson believes the issues weren’t as dire as it’s been made out to be and that the criticism he is receiving is unwarranted.
