Mergers and Acquisitions in the Time of Coronavirus
 

Good morning,

Happy Monday.

Despite this tumultuous year for businesses across industries, there have been a number of mergers and acquisitions in the ad-tech space, as our programmatic desk has detailed.

But the nitty gritty of those deals have been further muddled if those companies have taken out PPP loans. Without specific guidance on how those companies should treat paying back that money post-closing, or what it means for forgivability, companies have been left with "a lot of unknowns," Matthew Pelkey, partner at Colligan Law, specializing in advising entrepreneurs and businesses, told my colleague, Andrew Blustein.
