The M20 in Kent is closed eastbound between J8 (Maidstone) and J9 (Tenterden) due to a vehicle fire. Kent Police are in attendance with the Fire Service and are being assisted by Highways England Traffic Officers.

Road users are advised to use the 'Hollow Circle' diversion route displayed on road signs as follows;

Exit J8 of the M20 and go eastbound on the A20 towards Ashford. Continue on the A20 until the junction with Fougeres Way where it will turn northwards towards J9 of the M20 where you can re-join the M20.
