Bonjour! New Orleans is welcoming the president of France, well, about now, after Emmanuel Macron landed at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport just a few minutes ago. Macron will meet with Gov. John Bel Edwards, Mayor LaToya Cantrell and a host of other officials and residents from Louisiana and New Orleans during a whirlwind, one-day tour through the city. GIVE IT BACK: The James A. Singleton Charter School lost its charter to operate last year. Now, the school's operator, the Dryades YMCA, has been sued by Orleans Parish public schools, who allege that the Y needs to pay back some $381,000 the school received. Here are the details from Marie Fazio.
