MADE Brighton returns

After a six year break to allow for the spectacular renovation of the building, MADE BRIGHTON returns to the BRIGHTON DOME CORN EXCHANGE from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th November.

A national craft and design show for Brighton, MADE Brighton gathers togther dozens of the UK's best makers for what promises to be an innovative and top quality Christmas show.

We can't wait to be back in the building which has been stripped back to its original Regency structure and refurbished as a state of the art venue. Discover and enjoy the new galleries, lobbies, cafes, bars and restaurants while you shop direct from some fantastic makers.

Crochet for Christmas and beyond

We are looking forward to welcoming Cathy Van Hear back to ABtS, this time for a festive and fun-filled crochet workshop on Saturday 9th December.

Take a couple of hours off from your Christmas shopping to learn how to make some fab crochet decorations. Hang them on the tree, make them into garlands, add them to your gift wrap, or sew them onto some seriously fun festive-wear! Suitable for all levels, with projects suitable for absolute beginners to those who fancy a festive challenge! Find out more here.

Last days of Darktown

There is just one week remaining to take a trip to the Darktown Seaside Beano.

If you haven't visited this fabulous show yet, curated by Jonny Hannah and featuring an illustrious lineup of contemporary printmakers, don't delay. It's brilliant, but it must come down on the 12th November. Don't miss out.

It's beginning to look a bit like Christmas...

We've had more festive arrivals this week. Cosy knits, gorgeous prints and lots and lots of lovely decorations from the brilliant East End Press.

Working closely and sustainably with artisan printers all over the world, every East End product is hand printed, hand painted or hand dyed by skilled human hands, with craftsmanship and care.
