Waving goodbye to Darktown

We're getting ready to say so long to Jonny Hannah and his Darktown roadshow.

There are just two weeks left to visit the Darktown Seaside Beano before it packs up and ships it out. We've loved being immersed in this imaginary world. Don't miss your chance to visit. The show comes down on the 12th November. If you can't get along in person, you can see it online.

Silk Organza Portraits with Emily Jo Gibbs

It's almost time for our materclass with the renowned textile artist. Join Emily on the 4th and 5th December in our classroom by the sea.

Working from your own photographs and using layers and pieces of silk organza, you will create a delicate collage, building up fabrics and stitches to add shading, depth and detail.
