Inside Open Works

In January 2024, Open Works is unveiling two car charging stations for electric cars. This new initiative follows an earlier introduction of Wi-Fi charging stations across the city, aligning with Open Works' vision to enhance community access and provide valuable resources like workforce development training.

The Baltimore makerspace is always looking for ways to foster a more connected and empowered community. Another case in point: Open Works has partnered with Made In Baltimore to feature exclusive products created by its members. These items will be displayed on the MIB Kiosk in the Open Works lobby and available for purchase both at the kiosk and on Open Works' website from Dec. 1 to Jan. 31.
