* The main unionist parties have come together in a joint statement against the Northern Ireland Protocol.
The agreed position has been supported by the DUP, the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP), Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) and the Progressive Unionist Party (PUP).

* Amnesty International’s Northern Irish branch has come in for criticism for involving a former leading IRA man as part of a campaign for “truth and justice”.
The group issued a press release last week denouncing the Tory government’s plans for a statute-of-limitations, which would bar any further investigations into Troubles crimes.

* Northern Ireland High Street Voucher Scheme: Almost 500,000 apply for £100 spending card.
The new High Street voucher scheme got off to a rocky start yesterday morning as the web page for applications crashed shortly after it went online.

* Unionist voters have been urged not to award transfers to the Alliance Party by the DUP’s Jim Wells, as parties clash over calls for greater unionist co-operation.
The South Down MLA intervened in the debate over potential pacts to warn unionists that the Alliance Party should not be viewed as a “soft unionist party”.
