Good morning. Temperatures will be in the high 30s to low 50s from north to south with rain throughout the state. Here's what we're talking about in Maine today.

• At UMaine that includes baseball, softball and outdoor track and field, along with fall sports teams like women’s soccer and field hockey that conduct training in the spring. The season is also officially over for UMaine men’s hockey and women’s basketball.
   
• The University of Southern Maine on Thursday night also announced that it has canceled all spring intercollegiate sports activities, effective immediately.
   
• Colby, Bates and Bowdoin announced Wednesday that spring sports seasons are canceled.

• The Air and Marine Operations branch of the Customs and Border Protection will close its hangar in Houlton and relocate to Old Town later this year.

• With health officials discouraging mass gatherings, the woods and waters of Maine are looking even more attractive as go-to destinations.

• Tim Brewer, who led the Houlton High School boys basketball team to a 57-24 record in four seasons and the 2019 Class C North championship, has stepped down.

• The forest is truly “mixed,” filled with a wide variety of tree species, including stands of straight red pine trees that the Colemans planted in neat rows. In addition, much of the forest floor is covered with thick beds of moss.
