NEW FUND TO SUPPORT GREEN JOBS 

Scottish Enterprise is set to launch the first of a series of grant funding calls to help support economic recovery and stimulate the creation of new green jobs to advance Scotland’s net zero emission ambitions.

The green jobs fund will offer grants between £50,000 and £500,000 with support of between 10 per cent and 50 per cent of eligible project costs depending on factors such as company size, location and project activities.

Updated Guidance for Retail, Tourism and Hospitality

The Scottish Government has updated its guidance for retail, tourism and hospitality customers to highlight the changes they should expect when visiting these businesses during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The guidance explains the safety measures businesses should put in place, as well as steps customers should take to keep themselves and staff safe during their transactions.

It incorporates current guidelines on physical distancing and other workplace safety considerations, as well as advice specifically for museum, gallery or heritage settings, such as how to implement safety measures while continuing to care for collections and historic properties.
