John,
Back in May, we shortened our fundraiser to just two days. It was a big risk. We weren’t sure if we could raise the money we needed, but the response was amazing. Even during a pandemic and recession, KQED members helped us not just meet, but exceed our goal. We are humbled and grateful for this kind of support.
Now it’s time for our fall drive and we’re still grappling with the pandemic, wildfires and economic uncertainty. And all of this in an election year, too. We’re determined to keep this pledge drive to an absolute minimum, giving you the uninterrupted news and information you need. This time, we’re putting the power in your hands.
We need to raise $1,450,000 to bring you the local journalism and entertainment you expect from us every day. But we’ll make you a promise. The minute we hit our goal, the drive will end. This time, you’re in the driver’s seat. |
