Make the Most of Church Visitors

A lot of churches are worried right now. They assumed that once the Covid restrictions on physical gatherings lifted, members would come flooding back in. Unfortunately, for many congregations, that hasn’t happened. Many of the people who attended pre-pandemic, are simply staying home—or have moved on to a different church.

That’s why it’s so crucial to make the most out of it when someone new does visit your church. Unfortunately, that isn’t always easy to do. Sometimes churches are so insular that it’s tough for new people to break in … or they are so eager for new people that they can smother them and scare them away.

These resources can help. Attracting and Impacting Visitors is designed to help your church make newcomers feel welcome without overwhelming them. Also, once newcomers start attending regularly, you need to integrate them into the life of your church. Assimilating Visitors Into Your Church will help you do just that.
