A message from our cover star:
Hey Golf Digest readers,
Back in March, right before I lost to Sam Burns in the finals of the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play, Golf Digest asked my dad and me to come to Turtle Creek Club, a course near my home in Jupiter, Fla., and talk a little about my golf swing. I usually let my Dad [David] handle that kind of stuff. If you didn’t know, he’s a head club professional who recently retired after over two decades at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York. He’s been watching my swing since I was in elementary school and sometimes sees things that I don’t. The focus that day was why I hit it so far and what Golf Digest readers like you can learn from it. So we teamed up to break down the things in my driver swing that are teachable to everyday players. I hope you read my cover story in the May issue and watch our Undercover Lesson on Golf Digest Schools, and those things help you make this season "Your Longest Year Ever."
