Plain English Allergen Labelling 

Menu Allergen Information 

 

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand have introduced Plain English Allergen Labelling (PEAL) regulations which come into full effect on 25 February 2026.

 

All food businesses must keep accurate allergen information for every food and beverage item they sell. This information must be readily available upon customer request.
