Dear friend, My name is Shelly and I am honored to be able to write you this email on behalf of my family, and many other families here in Israel. I’ll be honest and get to the point: As a single mother, it's not easy to raise two children on my own, especially without the financial means to provide them with everything that they need. But I do my best, and I try to stay positive for my children. They deserve to experience the magic of Passover, just like any other child, and I'm doing everything I can to make that happen. I often wonder if my children will remember Passover as a happy time or just another painful reminder of our financial struggles. I want to be able to provide them with the dignity that they deserve and the chance to experience the joy of the holiday like any other child. But without help, it’s simply just not an option. Last year, Feed Israel stepped in and provided the support I needed to make Passover a joyous experience for my children. It was like a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark and difficult time. I was overwhelmed with relief and gratitude. The reality is that Feed Israel doesn't have the funds to provide essential Passover provisions to all the families like mine without the help of compassionate and generous supporters. Your contribution makes all the difference in the lives of struggling families and provides us with the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with dignity and joy. We desperately need continued help from Feed Israel, and so do so many other families. The more you can contribute, the more families and children you can redeem this Passover. |
