Good afternoon, This morning we had news that a man and a dog were injured in a suspected hit and run - we hope he's OK. Meanwhile, as Halloween looms, many parents are asking if they can take their children trick or treating - here is a guide. Our local democracy reporter Paul Faulkner has reported on the hundreds of unknown Covid cases detected by local door-to-door track and trace teams. And we explain what could happen if Tier 4 (who even knew there was one?) was brought into the most severely hit localities. Don't forget although the news and pretty much everything is dominated by coronavirus right now, we are still reporting from the courts. You can read the latest crime and court here although we are hearing a small flood has impacted proceedings at Preston Magistrates Court today. We are also trying to support the arts through the crisis. You can hear how Chorley Little Theatre will mark remembrance days with a screening of play War Horse. And it's always worth checking out our very own TV columnist Phil Cunnington who gives you the honest low-down on the latest small screen options. Don't forget we need your support to continue producing local news, sport and features from right here in Lancashire. If you can, please subscribe to lep.co.uk for an ad-lite experience with subscriber-only puzzles and access to a digital edition of the newspaper, alongside all the latest breaking news and information. Thank you so much for supporting us and have a lovely Tuesday, Kind regards, Nicola Adam Deputy Editor Lancashire Post & Blackpool Gazette Twitter: @jabberingjourno |
