Protesters gathered outside of the Seventh District Metropolitan Police Department Wednesday evening, a few hours after a deadly shooting involving D.C. police officers.
A new D.C. task force is calling for the renaming of at least 49 local schools, buildings and parks because their namesakes do not represent the values of "empowering and uplifting African Americans and other communities of color."
