Good afternoon,
It's definitely a day to stay inside if possible as Storm Christoph is making its way toward us and with it a variety of weather warnings.
As well as yellow alerts for heavy rain until Thursday there are 10 flood alerts in place across the county.
We will be keeping a close eye on the situation and will update our live blog continually to keep you all in the loop.
In the latest on vaccines, we are keeping up the pressure on the government to allow all local pharmacies the option to provide vaccines close to home with our #shotinteharm campaign.
We have also reported from Blackburn Cathedral, which opened its doors as a mass Covid-19 vaccine centre yesterday, but it came alongside news that Preston had the largest rise in Covid cases in England over the last week.
This is definitely not the time to let our guard down but it definitely feels like progress is being made.
If you would like to tell your vaccine story - are you waiting, already had the jab, delighted to be vaccinated or concerned in any way,  please email me at nicola.adam@jpimedia.co.uk and I will put you in touch with a reporter.
In other news  there has been a serious crash following a police chase in Burnley and a Leyland takeaway has issued a warning to customers following apositive Covid case.
To keep up to speed with the latest, please follow the live blog.
Have a safe and dry Tuesday!
Kind regards, Nicola
