Manuel Companies co-owner Greg Manuel was a “remarkable leader and cherished member of our community,” company officials said late Thursday. Manuel, 73, died Thursday afternoon in a plane crash at Oakbourne Country Club near the Lafayette Regional Airport. He was 73. In a statement from the company posted to social media, company officials praised his contributions both to the company and the Lafayette community.
