| Port leadership confident going into 2020 The S.C. Ports Authority continues to see year-over-year growth, with 1.04 million TEUs moved since the fiscal year began in July. Progress is also being made on construction of the Hugh K. Leatherman Sr. Terminal in North Charleston, which is expected to be completed in 2021, and the port’s CEO says the agency is on the right track despite global economic headwinds. (Charleston Regional Business Journal) Multi-Pack Solutions launching operations in new home Multi-Pack Solutions, a packaging and manufacturing provider for over-the-counter drugs and personal care products, is moving its production lines into a new, 125,000-square-foot facility. The facility represents a $16.3 million investment and will house production and sales operations. (GSA Business Report) Chinese mattress plant to open in Gaffney Palmetto Pedic, a mattress manufacturing company, plans to establish operations in Cherokee County.
