Chinese bedding manufacturer Milly is opening its new $50 million manufacturing facility in Winnsboro this week. The firm said the plant will employ 250 people(Columbia Regional Business Report)

Alcami Corp. to expand North Charleston operations

Pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturer Alcami Corp. plans to expand its North Charleston operations with a $17 million investment. Port leadership confident going into 2020

The S.C. Ports Authority continues to see year-over-year growth, with 1.04 million TEUs moved since the fiscal year began in July. Progress is also being made on construction of the Hugh K. Leatherman Sr. Terminal in North Charleston, which is expected to be completed in 2021, and the port’s CEO says the agency is on the right track despite global economic headwinds. (Charleston Regional Business Journal)

Multi-Pack Solutions launching operations in new home

Multi-Pack Solutions, a packaging and manufacturing provider for over-the-counter drugs and personal care products, is moving its production lines into a new, 125,000-square-foot facility.
