S.C. Manufacturing Conference set to be largest yet

When the 2019 S.C. Manufacturing Conference and Expo gets underway Tuesday, it will feature 275 exhibitors, more than 3,000 attendees and speakers representing government and industry, making it the state’s largest manufacturing conference to date.

Fluor Foundation scholarships help Quick Jobs students

The Fluor Foundation has donated $25,000 to the Greenville Tech Foundation to be used as scholarship assistance for students participating in the Quick Jobs with a Future program.

Upstate companies get state chamber recognition

Michelin North America will receive the Legends Award from the S.C. Chamber of Commerce at the chamber’s annual summit Nov. 20-21 in Isle of Palms. The award “recognizes the company, person or institution that has continually and consistently given to South Carolina and its people,” according to a news release.

Bite Squad’s Thanksgiving food drive underway

Food delivery company Bite Squad has launched its Share Thanksgiving food drive campaign. The goal is to help feed families in need by providing them with free Thanksgiving meals. The campaign is going on now, and when anyone orders from Bite Squad, the company will make a donation toward buying meals for area families during Thanksgiving.
