Vehicles that used to be available wholesale for as little as $2,500 are now going at auction for up to $7,000, reports the Killeen Daily Herald in Texas. “I usually try to carry 18-22 cars on my lot,” one dealer says. “I’m sitting with seven cars right now.”

EPA Bumps Up Economy Rating for ’21 Escape PHEV

The 105 MPGe rating is equivalent to 40 mpg combined city/highway for the CUV now arriving at Ford dealers. The ’21 Escape’s EPA-estimated all-electric range is 37 miles.
