| Kick-off meeting of the project âEuropean Pact for Integrationâ | |

| On 4-5 February the city of Cluj-Napoca (Romania) hosted the kick-off meeting of the European Pact for Integration (EPI). This is a project that brings together local and regional bodies from Estonia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Spain and Sweden, to develop successful intercultural integration strategies through peer mentoring and knowledge exchange. | |

| Montréal is rich in cultural diversity and has built its uniqueness thanks to the many immigrants who have chosen to make it their home. Even today, 60% of immigrants arriving in Québec choose to settle in Montréal. Unfortunately, while the unemployment rate for people born in Quebec is 5.1%, it is almost triple for recent immigrants. | |
