Intro to Bowl Turning
This workshop covers the basics of turning a bowl on a lathe and you need to have basic wood-turning skills before signing up.
Building on your skills and experience with spindle turning, you will learn about work holding, how to use the bowl gouge, planning the work, and cutting techniques. Working under the guidance of an instructor, you will do hands-on turning with the opportunity to make a small but functional article.
Held at Lee Valley's seminar room, this workshop is for those who have taken the intro to lathe workshop held in February or have experience with wood lathes.
