Your guide to an utterly marvellous March in London

Pinch, punch it's the first of the month! And we've found loads of lovely events to help you make the most of the next 31 days in London.

March means Mother's Day, St Patrick's Day and Women's History Month, and our events guide has our recommendations for celebrating all three. Also in our March events listings: plenty to please music lovers, including a festival that's all about Baroque composer Handel, an homage to London through song, and a free gig by Miss Baby Sol to open Southbank Centre's always-excellent Women of the World Festival (more on that three-day bonanza in our round up).

Looking for something especially out of the ordinary to do? From a festival of railway modelling to the Where's Wally Fun Run, consider your cravings for London-based quirkiness satisfied. Click below to find out all about those and everything else that's worth getting involved with this month.
