A new resilience group has been granted £1 million funding to support the Langoustine (Nephrops) sector through the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Webinars are being organised to help seafood businesses prepare for changes to import and export processes for trade with the EU and Northern Ireland, that will come into effect from 1 January 2021. The three sessions will look at the new requirements for importing and exporting non-live fishery products, importing and exporting live fishery products and what is required for moving goods as part of the Northern Ireland Protocol.
