Renowned as the place to showcase special purpose ships and high-tech solutions, the much-anticipated event will be high on the agenda of the maritime industry. With vaccinations gaining speed, Europort, placed from 2-5 November this year, seems to come at the perfect time. 

A new concept is coming to life at Europort 2021- the Rising Stars Pavilion powered by MARPRO. An area fully dedicated to promising maritime start-ups and next-gen innovators, where they can demonstrate how they contribute to a smarter, cleaner and/or safer maritime future. The Rising Star Pavilion offers small start-ups a fair chance to showcase their products and services to a large international audience for a budget-friendly participation fee.

Decarbonisation is now one of the biggest challenges facing the shipping sector, and with Energy Transition one of the key themes at Europort this year, we will be looking at how the industry can navigate its way towards a zero-emissions future. Recognising this,  Maritime by Holland has produced a Masterplan for an emissions-free maritime sector, which aims to deliver 30 emission-free vessels and five retrofits by 2030 for both sea and inland shipping. Following the conclusion of the national Green Deal for Maritime Shipping and Ports in 2019, the Masterplan provides the roadmap for change.

Recently we’ve received a number of complaints that fake letters and e-mails from the International Fairs Directory are being sent to our exhibitors. The letters and emails appear to originate in Costa Rica, and are asking companies to complete a form so that their information can be included in the directory/advertisement.

We would like to clarify that we have not shared any of our exhibitors’ information and to make you aware that these messages do not come from us, and that there is no partnership or agreement between Europort and these parties.
