Stock futures are pointing to a lower open after Gary Cohn announced that he will resign as President Donald Trump’s chief economic adviser. Cohn, a former Goldman Sachs executive, was considered to be Wall Street’s voice in the White House on issues such as tax reform and import tariffs.
