NATIONAL:Hybrid engagement platform ON24 has announced a new integration with the Drift platform. Joint customers will now be able to combine real-time Drift activity and conversational data with attendee and first-person engagement data from ON24 digital experiences. The integration allows companies to track engagement across marketing and sales activities and increase customer pipelines.
DENVER: Midnight dance party The Party Portal—Danceportation is set to take place at Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station on Feb. 26. The event will feature nine DJs playing nonstop until 4 a.m. across three stages, each with its own creative decor and theme. Danceportation is the first event kicking off the collaboration between Meow Wolf and Live Nation; the new partnership is set to include exhibition takeovers, off-site festivals and other unique gatherings.
DES MOINES, IOWA:The Red Bull Soapbox Race is coming to Des Moines on June 18. The race competition gathers amateur teams to see who can navigate their homemade cart the fastest through a downhill obstacle course. Since the first race in Brussels in 2000, over 100 Red Bull Soapbox events have been held in cities like Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Sydney; this is the first time the event has come to Iowa.
NEW YORK: Liz Kamiel has been promoted to vice president of business development at Sequence Events. Kamiel has spent the last four years with Sequence, most recently as the director of business development. In this new role, she will continue to build client relations and expand Sequence’s portfolio.
WASHINGTON, DC:AC Hotel Washington DC Capitol Hill Navy Yard will open on Feb. 3 as the third AC Hotels by Marriott in the city. The 255-room property will have a rooftop restaurant serving American fare, a 10,000-square-foot fitness center and 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space.
