I am a visual artist - painter, print-maker and surface designer.
I love experimenting with different media and tools and creating using my intuition. I paint mainly abstract expressionist and semi-abstract landscape & figurative paintings. I love bold, bright vibrant colors and all shades of blue. I am still in the process of defining my style and artistic voice - but I would define myself as modern abstract expressionist, intuitive painter.
I discovered the passion for painting at the age of 43 (in 2016) and since then I paint & create. I paint with acrylics, oils, watercolors, and mixed media, I create mono-prints, collages, digital pictures and unique modern mandala designs. In 2020 I also started transferring my art and pattern designs on products such as clothes, scarfs, shoes, home goods, etc.
Creating gives me so much joy and fulfillment. It allows me to express my emotions and desires. For the last 20 years, I've been struggling with hips' illness. There were times when I was in constant pain and I barely could walk. Fortunately, after 2 hip surgeries, I feel much better and life is easier, although there are still some limitations. Creating - particularly painting - give me the freedom of travelling to imaginary places and abstract lands.
