Quick tip for local startups: The Maryland Department of Commerce is sponsoring a delegation to Startup Grind's global conference in 2022, and it's seeking 15 startups to bring along and introduce to the community.

Held from Feb. 28-March 2 in Silicon Valley, the conference bills itself as bringing together 3,000 startups for networking, mentorship, educational content and workshops. It's one way to extend your reach, and represent Maryland in the meantime.

Chosen companies will get an all-access pass, a chance to exhibit, marketing support and more. Apply here by Nov. 9.

Plus, for anyone seeking a new role: Hosts for Humanity, a nonprofit founded by Jenny Owens that connects traveling friends and family of patients to volunteer hosts in Baltimore, is seeking a program manager. More here.
