Web app data leaked: 38M records exposed, including vaccination statuses

Data breaches are becoming alarmingly frequent, but they aren't always the result of a hack or intentional effort. Security researchers recently discovered the exposure of 38 million records via a Microsoft program that companies use to create apps and collect data. The data included email addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers and COVID-19 tracing and vaccination information.
