| Creativity is one of those things that we all have - it's just expressed in different ways, and there's nothing I love more than people throwing creative ideas up the flagpole and giving things a crack. That's exactly the case when it comes to an event which I was asked about some years ago now at that institution known as the Queensland EKKA. The idea being thrown around was to have a floral beard competition as a way of encouraging people to enjoy flowers and for young florists to get creative, using beards instead of vases. The moment I heard about this; I was in! Any idea that involves students, will immediately have me leaning forward and contributing to the process, which is exactly how it unfolded! | |
