Boeing’s perceived public relations push to support the 737 MAX’s return to service was under fire heading into the Dubai Airshow, and the company responded the best way possible: It let customers take over the narrative.  

The Dubai deals provide the MAX program with some much-needed external affirmation at an opportune time. Along with a summary of key milestones ahead of a return-to-service clearance, Boeing said it “continues to target FAA certification of the MAX flight control software updates during this quarter.”
