2023年半ばにスタートしたプロジェクトをようやく皆様に発表することができ、非常に嬉しく思います。TokyoDexは世界をリードする大手外資系投資企業の新しいオフィスを彩るためのアーティストのキュレーションを担当いたしました。新進気鋭のアーティストから著名なアーティストまで、グローバルな世界観を持つ幅広いアーティストを選びました。オフィスの壁に飾られているアート作品の多くはオリジナル作品を高解像度でプリントしたもので、細心の注意を払ってスキャンを行い、元の縮尺の10倍まで拡大して制作いたしました。最先端のUVプリント技術を駆使したこれらのプリントは、リアルな手触りを思わせる仕上がりとなっています。スキャンからデータ作成、印刷、そして各アーティストとの綿密なコミュニケーションに至るまでの入念なプロセスは、会社の理念を体現するために慎重に選ばれた、非常に質の高い作品に結実しました。掲載アーティストの作風は多岐にわたりますが、そこには紛れもない日本人の感性と職人技へのこだわりが貫かれています。

We're thrilled to finally be able to announce the public release of a project that began in mid-2023. TokyoDex was tasked with enhancing the new offices of a leading global investment firm with a curated collection of artwork. We selected a diverse group of artists, including both emerging talents and established luminaries, whose work captures local essence and global resonance. These artworks, primarily high-resolution prints derived from original pieces, were meticulously scanned and magnified up to ten times their original scale. Utilizing cutting-edge UV-printing technology, these prints bring a tactile, hand-crafted aura to the spaces. This careful process— from scanning and data creation to printing and communication with each artist—resulted in artworks of exceptional quality that embody the company's ethos. The varied styles of the artists are unified by a Japanese sensibility and dedication to craftsmanship.

慶應義塾大学の理工学部から、「Keio Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Goals (KeiDGs)」を推進するため、TokyoDexによるワークショップの開催と、ポスターやウェブサイトで使用するデジタルアートの作成のご依頼を受けました。ワークショップでは、学生や職員が共にKeiDGsの基本コンセプトである「多様性、平等・公平、自由」について探求しました。そこで生まれたアイディアや慶應大学の創立者である福澤諭吉の言葉などを元に、学生生活の豊かさや多様性を表現する作品をアーティストの宇都宮涼子と共に制作いたしました。エネルギッシュな色彩と形は、音楽、アート、スポーツなど多様な学生の情熱、そして自由な精神と青春の躍動感を象徴しています。

Recently the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University commissioned TokyoDex to hold a workshop and create digital artwork for posters and websites to promote the "Keio Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Goals (KeiDGs)." During the workshop, students and staff explored the core concepts of KeiDGs: "diversity, equality and fairness, and freedom." Inspired by these ideas and the words of Japanese philosopher and founder of Keio University Yukichi Fukuzawa, artist Ryoko Utsunomiya collaborated with us to create artwork reflecting the richness and diversity of student life. The vibrant colors and shapes symbolize the diverse passions of students in music, art, and sports, as well as the free spirit and vibrancy of youth.

5月26日までお台場のシンボルプロムナード公園にて開催されている "Re-think 廃材展： Art Walk Project @ SushiTech 2024" にぜひご参加ください。このプロジェクトは今年のSushi Tech Global Start-Up Programの一環であり、私たちTokyodexがよくコラボレーションしている多くのアーティストの作品が展示されています。「廃材に新しい命を与える」というプロジェクトの理念に基づき、この展示のために制作されたアート作品やベンチはすべて販売されています。TokyoDexのメンバーであるNozomiとDanielが廃材から制作した作品も展示されていますので、ぜひお台場に足を運んでみてください！

Don't miss your chance to see the "Re-think Haizai Art Walk Project @ SushiTech 2024" which is happening through May 26 at Symbol Promenade Park in Odaiba. Our designer Nozomi Kuroda created the visual identity for the project, which is part of this year's Sushi Tech Global Start-Up Program and includes the work of many of the artists we often collaborate with. In line with the project's ethos, "Giving new life to Junk," all art pieces and benches created for the exhibit are for sale.
