WorkSpace Safety & Orientation

This Safety & Orientation course is required for anyone who wants to work in the OTL WorkSpace on their project. Once you've completed this orientation you can purchase a monthly or daily pass to our WorkSpace at the tool library.

Drywall Repair & Painting Workshop

On Saturday May 11th (10am - 1pm), come learn how to patch the most common types of drywall problems, including hairline cracks, damaged corner beeds and holes of all sizes. We will also cover the basics of painting (both roller and brush)!
Cost: $80

Urban Food Production
Want to learn more about urban food production or starting your own garden?
Join us Monday May 27th (7 - 9pm) for an intro on growing your own food in an urban setting. We'll look at available resources, design concepts, and how to access possible growing spaces.
You'll also learn the best vegetable options to plant for our changing climate as well as hardening off and planting transplants.
There will be lots of time for Q & A!
Cost: $5

Bike Season is Finally Here!
Every last Wednesday of the month, our resident bike ninja will be on hand to answer your questions about DIY bike maintenance!

We have three bike stands, an extensive set of ParkTool bike tools and basic supplies (lube, rags, etc.). Please bring any replacement parts you need to work on your bike.

 

Sign up for our first session on Wednesday, May 29th. We are offering one-hour slots between 6pm and 9pm.
Cost $5

We're looking for Tool Ninjas! Do you have general expertise to offer advice regarding the best methods and tools for most home reno and personal DIY projects? 

Help us ensure that members leave with not only the right tools, but the knowledge and protective gear to make sure they can do it safely. This role requires significant expertise.
