ZACH: What. A. Week. So many incredible moments but my top one was sitting in the control room and watching Jennifer Beals talk with Alex. I’m obsessed with "The L Word" and for years Jennifer's character Bette Porter has been my possibility model. And in person she definitely continued to be so.

Beyond that, my chats with people like Elizabeth Perkins and Josh Segarra were a perfect way for me to get into the holiday season/remind me to go Christmas shopping ASAP.

Hope you’re not as far behind as me!

ALEX: It's been 48 hours and I've barely recovered from interviewing Jane Fonda *and* Jennifer Beals back-to-back on Friday.

Zach and I chatted with Fonda about her arrests to bring attention to the climate crisis. It was wonderful to talk to an icon who sincerely walks the walk and talks the talk, and I was especially excited to ask her about how "9 to 5" — and telling it to a "sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot" — resonates with millennial women.

As you read this, I'm probably watching the premiere of "The L Word: Generation Q," which Beals dropped by to discuss. The original series meant so much to LGBTQ women, so it was a treat to talk to her about the reboot and queer visibility.
