Immigration Health Surcharge due to increase The government has confirmed that the immigration health surcharge is due to double to £400 per year from December 2018 (the exact date is still to be confirmed). Alongside the increase in fees for immigration and nationality applications earlier this year, migrants applying for 30 months limited leave to remain will now be expected to pay £2,033 up front, making it increasingly difficult for those needing to regularise their status.
