PAHO Press conference: Update on vaccination in the Americas

WHEN: Thursday, April 20, 11:00 am ET (Washington, DC Time).

SUBJECT: With more than 2.7 million children under the age of one failing to receive all their vaccine doses in 2021 in the Americas, the risk of outbreaks due to vaccine-preventable diseases is currently at its highest point in 30 years. 

As we approach Vaccination Week in the Americas (22-29 April), PAHO experts will provide an update on vaccination in the region and recommendations on how to improve coverage.
