Resumed first meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) for a WHO instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response

Please find below information on the Resumed first meeting of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Body (INB) for a WHO instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, from 6-8 June 2022:
During a Special Session of the World Health Assembly held in December 2021, WHO Member States agreed to establish an intergovernmental negotiating body (INB) to draft and negotiate a WHO convention, agreement, or other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response.
The INB met for the first time on 24 February 2022 and resumed its work on 14-15 March 2022. It has resumed its first meeting for the second time on 6-8 June 2022.
In order to provide greater transparency of the work of the INB and to reach a broader audience, a session to report on the second resumed session of the first meeting is being broadcast to the public at the conclusion of the meeting. The live broadcast is tentatively expected to start at 14:00 CEST on 8 June and can be accessed from the link below. Please check back for updates.
