Bruce Bugbee is a Professor at Utah State University where he teaches plant nutrition and crop physiology. He is well known for his work with NASA to determine potential crop yield in controlled environments and he is currently funded by NASA to study food production on Mars. In 2011 he received the Governors Medal for Science from the State of Utah, and in 2013, he gave a TED talk titled, “Turning Water into Food.” In 1996 he founded Apogee Instruments, a research-based company that develops and manufactures instrumentation for environmental monitoring. |

Sjoerd Broeks is one of the world’s foremost authorities in the cultivation of Cannabis with more than 25 years of Cannabis cultivation and breeding experience. After completing the start-up stage at the Pharm as Cultivation Director, Broeks is now the Genetic Development and R&D Director for The PHARM LLC, a cannabis cultivation business in Willcox, Ariz., that operates a 320,000 square foot glass greenhouse. Broeks is a founding member of The Dutch Consulting Company (DCC). DCC’s operations are based on a collaborative platform. That company has enlisted the support of many of the industries’ leading experts to assist clients, including Harborside Farms in California, where DCC assists in all areas of Cannabis operations. |

Wearing multiple hats, Priscilla Vilchis is the CEO and CMO of Premium Produce. She is a self-made business magnate and was the youngest and first-ever minority female CEO to be awarded licenses to cultivate and produce medical and retail (recreational) cannabis in Nevada and recently launched her "Reina" cannabis brand. Vilchis' ultimate goal is to generate reimbursements from health insurance providers for medical cannabis. |
