International Dog Day
Dear John,

Today, on International Dog Day, we're excited to share the inspiring story of Kuno, a remarkable K-9 who has been making a significant impact in the search for missing children.

Kuno by a lake where he recovered a missing childJust this March, Kuno helped locate a missing 3-year-old boy in Michigan. With only a faint footprint to guide him, Kuno tracked the child’s scent through a quarter-mile of dense woods, leading to the successful recovery of the missing toddler. This marks Kuno's fifth rescue of a missing child!

Kuno's handler, Deputy Eric Calhoun, affectionately describes him as a lovable goofball who enjoys belly rubs and interacting with kids. But when it’s time for work, Kuno is focused and determined to help save children.

In honor of International Dog Day, you can make a difference too! With any donation, you can send a doggy e-card and personalized message to a friend or family member. Your contribution will directly support NCMEC’s critical work.

Warm regards,
John
