Laurie Parfitt is a professional with more than 15 years of experience in consumer products, including cannabis. Parfitt’s background includes experience in large-scale, integrated cross-channel marketing and experience campaigns, including a background in traditional marketing, category development and sales strategy in an omni-channel environment. Parfitt served as the vice president of customer engagement and marketing for Mission Dispensaries, which currently owns or manages nine retail locations in six states. In that role, she oversaw consumer experience and marketing/brand strategies for the booming cannabis dispensary operator. Previously, Parfitt served as Head of Category Management at Mizkan America, which does Ragu & Bertolli pasta sauces and as Director of Brand Strategy at Topco, which at roughly $12 billion in sales is the country's largest retail food group purchasing organization. She also previously held business and marketing roles at Walgreens, Jim Beam Brands, and Kraft Foods.

Mark Passerini serves as Executive Vice President of Retail Operations for Mission Dispensaries. Passerini has 25-plus years of sales and management experience in a variety of industries, including more than a decade of experience within the cannabis space, both as a retail business owner and advocate for the industry.

In his role at Mission, Passerini utilizes his combination of operations and retail development experience to implement and maintain the organizational design, retail strategies, and staff training and development programs for the Mission family of stores. In addition, Passerini is in charge of growing the Mission brand and establishing educational guidelines to ensure effective communication with customers and patients.

COUNSEL - LICENSE APPLICATIONS, CRESCO LABS
Mackenzie Ditch Wilcox currently serves as Counsel - License Applications for Cresco Labs, a vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operator headquartered in Chicago, Ill. Wilcox’s legal background in tax, business and grant writing brings a unique and focused perspective to merit-based cannabis applications. In this position, Wilcox utilizes her legal education and experience to guide the license application process for the company, including licensing, regulatory incorporation and application strategy. In addition, Wilcox helps manage the application licensure process of Cresco Labs’ Social Equity and Education Development (SEED) program, which aids qualifying Social Equity Applicants in applying for various cannabis licenses. To date, the SEED program has incubated and assisted over 40 social equity-qualifying entities in applying for licensure in various areas of the cannabis industry, including retail, craft grow and infuser applications in Illinois.
